Sometimes we just need a little push through the door. This is common in the last mile of research, as many struggle to best frame the data and tell a coherent and compelling story.

In this case, a talented consultant assessed their client’s employee benefits to find more ways to support equity and inclusion. Without a clear framework, they struggled to decide which insights to include in the report and how to frame the findings. Context was also needed, to demonstrate how each insight highlighted impacted the business.

Data Larks was brought in to help clarify client objectives and priorities, then create a framework to communicate key findings and insights, cite data sources, and provide actionable recommendations.

RESULTS

  1. CREDIBILITY: The report was distributed and presented to HR stakeholders at the client organization. Findings were well received, and action plans were developed. 

  2. ACTION: Since then, several improvements and additions have been made to the end client’s dress code policy and education assistance program.

  3. GROWTH: HR managers engaged with their primary consultant to support developing and implementing action plans, and the coaching and advisory support retainer was extended. Additionally, another assessment was contracted, which will tackle inclusive hiring practices at the end client’s organization.
